Diodes' AP25810L USB-C Downlink port (DFP) controllers come with an integrated 3 A rated USB power switch with 30 mΩ on-resistance and two optional fixed current limits consistent with USB Type-C current levels. The AP25810L device is used to monitor the Type-C configuration channel (CC) line to determine the connection of USB devices

Diodes' AP25810L USB-C downlink port (DFP) controller is equipped with an integrated 3 A rated USB power switch, with a 30 m Ω on resistance and two optional fixed current limits consistent with the USB Type-C current level. AP25810L device is used to monitor Type-C configuration channel (CC) line to determine USB device connection.

If the upstream oriented port (UFP) device is connected, AP25810L will apply the power supply to the VBUS, and inform the UFP of the selectable VBUS current injection capability through the straight through CC line. If UFP is connected with a cable with an electronic mark, AP25810L will also apply VCONN power to the cable CC pin. When no device is connected, the current consumption of the device is usually less than 0.7 µ A, thus saving the system standby power consumption. AP25810L adopts bare pad W-QFN3040-20 package with improved thermal performance.
